We could label this as brutalist. Following the Grande Dixence, the dam has given us concrete. At the typological level, I think that with new internet technologies, more and more polyvalent huge spaces will be developed in the place of a multitude of small rooms.
You will also find in this construction, architectural components and elements brought back from different voyages – mashrabiyya on the southern façade and the flat roof often found in eastern architecture, while the entrance patio recalls Roman and Greek architecture. The height of the ceilings recalls the architecture of the South, designed to air and ventilate the house during the hottest temperatures.
